Well the competition was fierce in the first day of the Halo 3 tournament put on by newly formed gg Circuit. This gaming tournament circuit is a first of it’s kind in that it caters to the game center environment.
Instead of having to travel hundreds of miles or more to participate in the event, most gamers can now just go to a participating game center (yes fans dotGAME will be a such a center). This will hopefully generate great turnouts and awesome competition at these events.
In looking at the turnout for the first event of the season, I would have to say that gg Circuit is off to a great start. In this inaugural event, They had 30 2 player teams participating at there local game centers from Virginia to Arizona. These events are typically set up to be 2 day events, and the finals of this event begins today at 12pm cst. You can check out the progress of the bracket HERE.
This event has a $750 total prize pool. The combined prize pool of the current listed events for January is $2600.
dotGAME is really excited that gg Circuit has gotten off to such a good start.
