dotGAME Update

Well it has been a long arduous task.  We decided to get dotGAME going during one of the most serious economic downturns in the last fifty years.  That has resulted in significant delays in getting our company off the virtual drawing board and into reality.  All of that is set to change however.

After months of effort, dotGAME finally been able to secure the financing required to establish a premiere gaming center in the city of Lincoln, Nebraska.  The delay in funding has caused our timetable to be altered however.  Originally we were looking at an opening date of March of 2009.  The downside is that this has bumped our opening date to at least May (probably).  We will keep everyone informed as we get closer to actually opening.

We have also updated the specs of the computer systems that we will be offering our patrons.  In an effort to bring you the most power that you will find anywhere we have decided to upgrade our chips to quad core processors.  Also, after some thought on the subject, we decided to go with 22″ monitors over the 19″ monitors that we had originally planned.  All of this is intended to make your experience at dotGAME and incredible one.  Check out the full specs below.

- Intel Core2Quad E8200

We are very excited to be able to bring you this news.  Things are going to start moving pretty fast now that we have gotten over this latest hurdle.  In the next 30 to 60 days we will have lots of exciting updates to share.  There will be pictures of the buildout, and perhaps some video too.

These are truly exciting times for Lincoln’s gaming community.
